Great News for Collaborative Practice Statewide!
The Maryland Judicial Council has voted unanimously to approve a suspension of the case time standards for parties who choose the collaborative process once litigation has begun. This will be a state-wide policy!
A standardized Joint Motion to Stay and Order will made available which will include a provision that a status conference will be held nine months from the date of commencement of the collaborative process in the event the parties have not yet reached a resolution.
A big thank you to Meg Oliver, Jolie Weinberg and Ann Balcerzak for their efforts on behalf of Collaborative Practice!
