Margie Hofberg is the President of Residential Mortgage Center, Inc., a mortgage banker and broker licensed in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia and Florida. Margie began her career as a loan officer in 1984, and she now has 22 years of experience in the residential mortgage lending industry. She was the founding President of the Maryland Association of Mortgage Brokers, formed in 1992, and served on its Board of Directors through 2000. Margie also served on the Mortgage Bankers Association/Metropolitan Washington Board of Governors for several years. In 2000 she received the MAMB Broker of the Year award, and in 1999 received the MBA/MW award for Member of the Year. Margie is currently serving as the Membership Chairman of CDRP, and has received training in collaborative law. Margie graduated from Bucknell University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude. She is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Maryland, and resides there with her husband. Their two sons attend the University of Maryland.
