Jamie Lapin is a recognized authority on investments, taxation and the economics of life transition.

Among the first Certified Financial Planners (CFP®) in the country, Jamie has provided skilled and practical guidance as a financial consultant for over 30 years in every phase of financial, business, tax, estate, retirement, eldercare and divorce planning.

Jamie was a key designer of the financial planning programs of two major New York Stock Exchange member brokerage houses, and among Wall Street's first Vice Presidents of Financial Planning.  Recognizing the brokerage world's difficulty with putting client's needs first, Jamie opened her own financial planning firm in 1984, with the goal of providing all clients with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to achieve their economic goals.

Jamie is a frequent contributor and active member at the Maryland Commission for Women.  A native of Washington, D.C., Jamie is the proud mother of two young adults.
