Resolving Conflict Through Collaboration

MCPC Mission: "To unite Collaborative Professionals in the State of Maryland and to advance the values and use of the Collaborative Process as an accepted method of dispute resolution"

The Maryland Collaborative Practice Council (MCPC) is a not for profit association of attorneys, mental health and financial experts and their respective practice groups. These professionals are dedicated to resolving family and civil disputes without resort to litigation.

MCPC Goals
  • To create and promote standards of Collaborative Practice among all professional disciplines
  • To promote uniformity in the delivery of Collaborative dispute resolution services
  • To promote development and passage of statutes and rules concerning Collaborative Practice
  • To provide a resource for Collaborative professionals
  • To provide support for Collaborative practice groups
MCPC fulfills its mission by:
  • Providing a membership directory of Collaborative Professionals in the State of Maryland
  • Publishing and disseminating to its members a quarterly newsletter of articles of interest to and resources for the use of those members
